hi Ms. Rubio,
I'm not quite sure if this is even going to reach you. I know
that you are going to some country in South America (brazil
perhaps?), and I don't even know if this is the correct email
address, but I wanted to at least give it a shot.
I hope that you are doing well and having a good time.
I wanted to let you know that I am also doing very well here in
New York City. I absolutely LOVE Columbia so far, and I have a
feeling that I will only grow to like it even more as time goes
on. You were right; the atmosphere is definitely set by the
students on campus. Everyone is so intellectually stimulating- I
definitely have been learning as much outside the classroom as
inside! My classes are challenging-- much much more than Savio,
but I really enjoy the feeling, and I love the subjects I am
studying, which makes it all the better. I wanted in closing to
thank you for all your support and guidance since sophomore year.
You really inspired me to go ahead and apply to all the great
schools I applied to, and you gave me confidence that I would get
in and succeed! I honestly would not be here if not for your
encouragement. Thank you!
