We spent a week at Heifer International working on team building and learning about international development. One night was a simulation where the students were given supplies and had to barter to make their dinner and breakfast. We played different roles. I was a two-year old; some students were pregnant. After carrying around a nine-pound water balloon, the "pregnant" students gave birth. The baby had to be constantly held. When one student neglected his baby, the entire community had to sit for 30 minutes in silence mourning its death.
